Seeing I'm using a play hard drive that I use to experiment with, I loaded numerous drivers, kind of hit and miss. This is s generic disk with drivers for LAN cards as well as other cards. There is no way to find the correct driver for this card. I ordered the Buslink card and was sent this instead. No way could I get this card to work.Save your money and by all means.DO NOT GET THIS CARD. I am running Win XP in a Pentium IV computer. But the mixup is another issue.This card does not work. There are no instruction but it comes with a CD.
I didn't try it in my new PC, but what is the point in having a PCI USB2.0 card if it won't work fine in old hardware. I had to resort back to USB 1.0 ports. Stay away and don't get suckered by the price. I bought this so that I can use my external HD with it in old hardware. In both of the two old PCs that I have, it worked about %30 of the time, but mostly gave errors.
This is a nice usb Port unfortunatly it doesn"t do what i needed for pc/tv video
Don't waste your time on this one. After two hours of trying stuff I couldn't get anything out of this card which proves the old addage: You get what you pay for.
